The exhibition proposal consists of an audio-visual trilogy that approaches the relationship between death and conservation. The works were developed in secular spaces (monuments, libraries and museums) whose purpose is the preservation of objects, ideas and discourses. The film trilogy is a visual essay that traces connections between geology, cryonics and the Soviet space travel. Sometimes with humour or through the use of fictional and documentary elements, this trilogy sets the question of conservation as a human practice. Also an archive, a collection of objects, images and documents, will be on view, recreating and reevaluating the roll of documents in contemporary art practices.
